Terms of Service

These terms cover every website plan, the monthly hosting and care plan and any add-ons you buy from Greater Marketing Group (“Greater”, “we”, “us”). By checking out you agree to them. We wrote them in plain language on purpose.

1. What you are buying

Each plan has two parts:

Optional add-ons (Google Ads management, local SEO, social media) are billed monthly only after we confirm the details with you by email. Advertising spend is paid directly to the ad platform and is not part of our fee.

3. Payments and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. At checkout you pay the build fee plus your first month of hosting and care. The monthly plan then renews automatically every month on the same date until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars. If a payment fails, we may pause your site until the balance is paid.

4. Cancelling

There is no contract. You can cancel the monthly plan anytime from your billing page or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month, and your site stays online until then. We do not refund partial months. When your plan ends, we take the site offline. If you want to host it elsewhere, ask us before your plan ends and we will send you a copy of your site files and content.

5. Refunds

If you cancel before we deliver your first draft, we refund your build fee in full. Once your first draft is delivered, the build fee is non-refundable because the work has been done. Monthly fees are not refunded for months that have already started.

6. Your content and your domain

You own your business name, logo, photos, text and domain name. When you send us content, you confirm you have the right to use it and you let us use it to build and run your site. If you need a new domain, it is registered in your name or transferred to you on request.

7. Our work

While your plan is active and paid, you have the right to use your website design for your business. We keep the rights to our own tools, templates, code and know-how, and we may reuse general techniques on other projects. We may show your finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

8. Results

We build websites and campaigns to bring in customers, but we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads or sales. Search engines and ad platforms make their own decisions and change their rules often.

9. Hosting

We host sites on reliable providers and keep backups, but no service can promise 100% uptime. We are not responsible for outages caused by third parties, your domain registrar, or changes you or others make without us.

10. Fair use

We may decline or end service for sites that are illegal, misleading, hateful, or that infringe someone else’s rights. If we end service for that reason, we refund any unused prepaid month.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If a change affects your active plan, we will email you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
